When The Mission Is Critical...

Air Angels, Inc. was founded in 1998 as one of the Midwest's only full-service Air and Ground critical care transportation providers. Since that time we have cared for thousands of patients by providing our life-saving services to regional healthcare facilities and emergency agencies throughout Illinois, Indiana and surrounding states. With locations at Clow International Airport, Bolingbrook, IL and Dupage Airport in West Chicago, IL, Air Angels offers an excellent combination of tertiary care along with the expertise of transporting critically ill or injured patients. In addition to our medical transport services we offer Aircraft Maintenance Service at our Bolingbrook, Illinois base as well as Critical Care Education classes. In addition to providing quality patient care as outlined in our Mission Statement, Air Angels is committed to servicing the community in which we work & live. Air Angles has several ENCARE (Emergency Nurses Cancel Alcohol Related Emergencies) certified nurses. The mission of these volunteer ENA Nurses is to provide education to teens regarding safe choices related to drinking, drugs, and alcohol.

We participate in community festivals including North Aurora Days' Emergency Vehicles Show. This gives people in the community a chance to get up close & personal with the Air Angels vehicles and personnel. It gives them a chance to see what the inside of a helicopter looks like and to talk with the team that they wouldn't normally see under such happy circumstances.

This year we also had our first annual Blood Drive. We worked with Life Source Blood Bank to provide life in another form for the people of this community.

We coordinate with area Fire/Rescue Protection districts and MABAS to participate in their training drills for mass casualty and major trauma. This makes all the teams involved better prepared for disaster or trauma, getting the Air Angels team to the disaster site quicker and safer for all involved.
