AIR ANGELS - Air Angels Direct Access Program

Founded in 1998, Air Angels is recognized as one of the region's most comprehensive Air and Ground Critical Care transportation providers. With multiple locations and transport vehicles (helicopters and ambulances) in Illinois and Indiana, Air Angels offers an excellent combination of tertiary care along with the expertise of transporting critically ill or injured patients.

In order to promptly address our customer's requests, we are pleased to now offer the Air Angels' Direct Access Program. By placing a toll-free call to our Transport Coordination Center, 1-877-247-5438, you can rapidly access Air Angels' services directly. This includes Helicopter, Critical Care Ground and Fixed-Wing Coordination. An Air Angels' Communication Specialists is available 24-hours per day, 365 days per year to assist you with all of your transport needs.

As a community-based transportation provider, Air Angels will transport your patient to any healthcare facility as per your instructions. This includes facilities that may provide a similar transportation service. All scene response transports are taken to the closest, most appropriate care facility. Air Angels DOES NOT request or require the referring facility to pay for our services; Air Angels accepts and bills all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.
